The nearest airport was conveniently far enough to not hear any planes. The TV and DVD player provided excellent company for me in the evenings. Cycling in the surroundings was a thrilling adventure.
Oh, how I loved staying 32 km away from Oxford! The holiday home being 28 km from Blenheim Palace was just the cherry on top.

I had an amazing stay at this charming little hotel in the heart of the Cotswolds. The room was clean, bright, and beautifully furnished, with a large and comfortable bed. The location was perfect, with easy parking and just a short walk into the village center. The view from the little balcony overlooking the mill stream was absolutely delightful, especially with the ducks and swan floating by. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and even provided a bottle of wine as a welcome gift. Highly recommend!
The only thing I would suggest for the breakfast menu is perhaps adding some more variety.
